CoWork155

Cowork155 - Creativity in Community. Since 2013.

You have work.
We have CoWork.

Announcement From CoWork155

For the past four years, CoWork155 and its members have lived the principles of coworking, providing York with a place for community, collaboration, openness, sustainability and accessibility. Many people have worked in our community and used it as a springboard to venture out on their own. We are so proud of what we all created together.

CoWork155 will be closing, effective October 15.

We know there will be other coworking opportunities in York in the near future through Working Class and their partnership with Penn State York (they expect to have coworking space available by spring 2018), and have heard from several others that they may start collaborative workspaces, as well, to fill the gap once we close.

It has been our pleasure working with each of our members, learning about the work they do, connecting them with each other and the greater community, and getting to know them personally. We thank them for being part of this community, and also thank those in our "extended family," who attended programs and events over the years.

The home of York, Pennsylvania's growing coworking community.

CoWork155 provides a unique work environment to entrepreneurs, telecommuters, freelancers, salespeople and employees of innovative firms in the York region. Our community nurtures a culture of collaboration and cooperation for individuals focused on getting things done and growing their business.

CoWork155 is a membership-based community that provides quiet workspace to a network of independent professionals, along with business-class amenities like high-speed Internet access, incoming mail service, and printing and copying.

Traditionally, society forces us to choose between working at home for ourselves or working at an office for a company. If we work at a traditional 9 to 5 company job, we get community and structure, but lose freedom and the ability to control our own lives. If we work for ourselves at home, we gain independence but suffer loneliness and bad habits from not being surrounded by a work community. Coworking is a solution to this problem.
